Data Space
Deconstruct raw ingest into canonical entities: transactions, parties, accounts and events, with full lineage.
Transforming how transformation gets done, across sectors, with people at the centre and AI readiness as the measure of success.
modernAIse is the engine. Each vertical takes it into the realities of a specific sector, the same readiness practice, shaped to how that industry actually runs.
modernAIse Cross-sector
The flagship platform. A live, integrated view of your transformation, where you are, what to do next, and whether you're actually moving.
Know where you stand
We measure your organisation's readiness for AI, across people, data, and process, before you spend another pound moving in the wrong direction.
Connect without replacing
modernAIse sits on top of your existing systems. No rip-and-replace. Your teams keep working the way they work. The platform translates underneath.
See everything, live
One dashboard. Every part of your transformation, what's moving, what's blocked, what needs a decision. Built for the leader accountable for results, not the team writing the report.
Technology-agnostic by design. We integrate with what you already run.
AI should extend human judgement, not replace it. We build transformation people can trust, with safeguards designed in from the start, not bolted on afterwards.
Human centered
People stay accountable for decisions. AI informs, humans decide.
Transparent
Every recommendation traces back to its evidence. No black boxes.
Secure by design
Data protection, access control and master data integrity are core, not afterthoughts.
Governed
Clear ownership, audit trails and guardrails aligned to your risk appetite and regulation.
Founder & CEO, on choosing data foundations before AI
Chefs For Foodies was built to solve a simple problem.
There are hundreds of incredible artisan food producers and premium kitchen brands across the UK creating outstanding products, yet most consumers never discover them. Traditional supermarkets aren't designed to help these smaller brands grow, and many simply don't have the budget or expertise to scale their direct-to-consumer sales.
Today, we work with over 100 artisan brands representing more than 1,000 products, all fulfilled through a lean dropship model where stock remains with the supplier until it's sold. That removes unnecessary warehousing, reduces working capital requirements and allows independent brands to grow without the traditional barriers to entry.
The business model worked, but as we grew it became clear that our next challenge wasn't operations, it was scale.
We knew AI would play an important role in the future of Chefs For Foodies, but I didn't want to invest in technology simply because everyone else was talking about AI.
When we started working with AIMETECH, I expected a conversation about AI tools and automation. Instead, they began by assessing how ready our business actually was.
The modernAIse assessment challenged many of our assumptions.
The biggest surprise for me was realising that our biggest constraint wasn't AI at all, it was our data.
Like many growing businesses, we had valuable information sitting across Shopify, supplier systems, logistics platforms, marketing channels and operational processes, but none of it was connected well enough to make fast, informed decisions.
AIMETECH didn't sell us AI. They helped us understand the foundations we needed before AI could deliver any real value.
It quickly became obvious that buying AI agents before fixing our data would have been an expensive mistake.
Instead, we changed the order completely. We built the enterprise data layer first.
Today, we're connecting Shopify, suppliers, logistics, marketing and operational data into one intelligent platform that will become the foundation for AI workflows and AI agents across customer service, digital marketing, supplier onboarding, sales and business intelligence.
Importantly, we haven't replaced the systems we already use. We've simply connected them in a way that allows AI to work properly.
What I particularly like is that the AI doesn't replace people.
It automates repetitive tasks, identifies opportunities, provides intelligent recommendations and helps our team make faster, better-informed decisions. Every important commercial decision still remains with people.
For a business like ours, that's exactly how AI should be used.
Our ambition is to build what we believe will become one of the UK's leading AI-enabled commerce platforms for speciality food, giving independent brands access to enterprise-level technology that would otherwise be beyond their reach.
For me, AIMETECH has been much more than an AI partner. They've become a strategic transformation partner, helping us rethink how the business should operate in the age of AI.
If you're considering AI, my advice would be simple:
Don't start by buying AI tools. Start by understanding whether your business is actually ready for them.
That's exactly what AIMETECH helped us do.
A global team of AI and transformation professionals, focused on value first, with deep, hands-on experience running transformation across IT, Digital, Data, Analytics and AI.
